Repairs for Membrane, Built Up and Metal Roofs
Every roof type fails in its own way, and each one needs compatible materials for the repair to hold. Our repair division handles TPO, EPDM and PVC membranes, built up and silicone coated roofs, commercial metal, slate, tile and the box gutters common on older Pittsburgh buildings.
On metal roofs, the usual problems are loose fasteners, worn sealant at laps and rust around penetrations. On membrane roofs, it's seams, flashing and punctures. A weathered roof that's still dry can often be restored with a MuleHide silicone coating, the same approach we used to seal leaking box gutters in Bellevue.

How much does commercial roof repair cost in Pittsburgh?

How long does a commercial roof repair take?
Small repairs such as a single seam or flashing detail are often finished in one visit. Larger areas of damage take longer. We tell you what to expect in your estimate.
Can you repair my roof while my business is open?
Usually, yes. Most repair work happens on the roof with little effect inside. We plan access, timing and any noisy work with you ahead of time.
What should I do if water is coming in right now?
Move equipment and inventory away from the leak, catch the water and call us at (412) 616-0191. We work all winter, and when a permanent repair has to wait for weather, a temporary repair can limit the damage.
Why does my flat roof only leak in heavy rain?
That often points to ponding water or a slow drain. When water backs up, it reaches seams and flashing that stay dry in a light rain. Clearing drains and fixing the low spot or flashing usually solves it.
Do you repair TPO, EPDM, PVC and metal roofs?
Yes. We repair TPO, EPDM and PVC membranes, built up roofing, silicone coated roofs and commercial metal roofs, using materials that are compatible with each system.
Is it worth repairing an older commercial roof?
If the damage is limited and the rest of the roof is dry, a repair or a silicone coating can buy you years and time to budget. If leaks keep moving or much of the insulation is wet, replacement is usually the better use of money.
Will insurance cover my commercial roof repair?
If the damage came from a covered event such as wind, hail or a fallen tree, your property policy may cover it. Wear and age usually aren't. We document storm damage and work with your adjuster.
How do I keep leaks from coming back?
Keep drains and scuppers clear, limit foot traffic, and have the roof inspected each year and after major storms. Small problems found early are the cheapest ones to fix.
