This summer, Malick Brothers Roofing & Exteriors embarked on a heartwarming mission that goes beyond our typical construction projects. As back-to-school season approached, we recognized an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in our local community by organizing a school supply drive to support students in need.
The Initiative: Filling Backpacks, Filling Hearts
Our team at Malick Brothers took on the responsibility of providing backpacks, but we knew we couldn’t fill them alone. We reached out to our community through social media, asking for donations to help us stock these backpacks with essential school supplies. The response was nothing short of incredible. Local businesses, families, and community members rallied together, proving that when we work as a team, we can accomplish amazing things for our kids.

The Impact: More Than Just School Supplies
The collection period ran from July 14th through August 8th, with donations accepted at various community locations in the West View area, including both of our offices. What started as a simple school supply drive became a powerful demonstration of community unity and care.
The filled backpacks were distributed through our partnership with Heyl Family Practice, ensuring they reached families who needed them most. But the impact extends far beyond the supplies themselves – it’s about showing children in our community that local businesses care about their success and are invested in their future.
Looking Forward: Our Commitment Continues
